SL500 Stalls out at Idle HELP HELP HELP!
I have a 1999 SL500. Recently, I have had issues with it stalling out at idle. When I try to restart it the car cranks but refuses to start-- However, it never fails that if I wait about 10-15 minutes, it will start again.
I had the fuel filter replaced-- hoping it was as easy as that-- It wasn't! It appears to be some sort of heat sensor or coil issue because it seems once it "cools" or the engine is off for a given period of time it will restart without hesitation. Wondering if anyone has any ideas... Diagnostics were run, and the computer showed nothing... PLEASE HELP! |

The common problem for that engine M113 is a defective crank sensor.. TESTING for RPM signal when the engine WON'T start is the best course of action.
