do you guys happen to know if a front windshield of a 124 sedan(4 door) is the same or will it fit on a 124 coupe(2 door)...? :confused: ...coz windshield on my e320 coupe was damaged, trying to compare it with my 124TE, they just look the same but with different part # and whoopy price for coupe... just wondering..

I just had the front replaced on my 89 300e coupe.. it is the same as the sedan. Apparently the rear is different and is costlyf or the coupe.

The people replaced it on site for 200 dollars... I do carry comprehensive or collision on a 5k car.

I believe they are different. They have different part numbers.

The coupe and the sedan have slightly different roof lines in the front. The rear glass is radically different. MB has different part numbers for different parts. They are different.

The only sheet metal parts common to both the sedan and the coupe are the front fenders and the hood. Everything else is different.

But the windshields must be close. Lee says the sedan glass will fit. I don't know. My coupe windshield (Securit) cost $150 (just the glass) a year ago. I don't think it was much different in price from the sedan.

maybe I need to clarify.... i had the front glass in the coupe replaced for 200.

the installer implied that it was the same as the sedan. I was just relieved at the modest price.
