after accident, engine wont start. help!!!
 

I have a 1996 c220 that has been in a accident. only the passenger side airbag deployed, but now the engine will turn over but wont start.:confused:

I think the fuel shuts off automaticly for safety when in an accident.

Ive had other cars with the same problem in the past and just needed to press a button to get the fuel going again.

please give me a reply if you can help

It sounds as if you are on the right track. The inertia switch most likely needs to be reset. Where is it? I have no idea. Good luck

Hi you are quite correct the inertia switch will activate. Also on some vehicle the engine imobiliser will kick in as a secondary safety device.
