Hi, guys. Many thanks for helpful info in the past. I have a new question today:

I bought a piece of body trim and clips to replace the missing trim across the bottom of my door. Just wondering, after turning up nothing on the net, what is the best procedure for attaching it... This is a piece of black plastic trim with an internal metal strip, molded with a "handle" strip which sort of "grabs" the clips, which go into holes in the door. The clips are mildly adhesive.

So, it looks to me like I need to remove the old clips, insert the new ones in the door, and then kind of finagle the trim piece until it hooks on all the clips?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

exchange the broken, current clips for the new ones and push on the trim by hooking in the topside first and "rotate" it down to click in the bottom side of the clips.
After all clips clicked in, you can put in the srew at the end of the trim (from the inner side of the door).

The top of the trim has to be hooked over the clips after which the bottom side of the clips can be clicked in by turning the trim towards the door/threshold.

greetingz,
