W126 is flaking away
 

Well, ever since I got my 1983 300SD late last summer:

When I got it:

The speedo wouldnt work, seat switch busted, door handle mount broken.
tach broken, passenger side window motor gone. Got all but the tach and window motor fixed. Since then:

The blower has gone out, the antenna wont go down all the way, the fuel gauge is always "full" (empty when car off, bad sending unit?), door hinge thing that keeps it open is busted on one door, hood cable mount on the intererior has broken off...

Car runs like a champ though...

But what the heck its a 23 year old car after all! but these nickles and dimes are going to add up when I tackle these things....

There is no such thing as a cheap Mercedes Benz :cool:
