Does anyone know how to remove the seat back arm rest on a 123?

Fold the armrest halfway up so its at a 45 degree angle - look underneath, and you'll see a bolt (might be a screw). Take it out, then the seat can be pushed up towards the roof until it comes off. Let me know if this doesn't work, and i'll look for my hayne's manual...

I want to remove the arm rest only not the seat back.
I can see nothing on the axle for the arm rest, there is a small bump on the seat side like the one to remove the headrest but it does nothing. Do I have to remove the black
release button? There is nothing in the Haynes manuel.

I am going to try to give back some. I am only a junior member but I can tell you what I did on my 190. Hope it's the same. On the bottom of the back of the seat there are two screws. Take them out and remove the back of the seat. Inside you will find the nut that holds the armrest on. Remove that and your armrest is out.
