I just had a thought about what the vibration in the front end of my car could be. When I took my car to get new rotors and wheel bearings, they also replaced the right front spindle and idler arm bushing. I don't seem to feel anything in the brake pedal, so maybe it's the front end alignment. As soon as I picked up the car I noticed the slight vibration. I notice it more at slower speeds(<35mph). When they replaced the spindle could this have thrown off my alignment? I really miss that smooth ride. thanks for help. andy

Andy, front or rear wheel alignment normally does not cause vibrations.
You have a rotating mass that is causing your vib(s). Having had work done that required the wheels to be removed, could you have a wheel that is not square with the hub, lug bolts tightened and torqued to the right amount and done out of sequence? Check for a rotating mass! Happy Trails Beep Beep from Houston!!! Donald, El Cheapo |
