500E trans drip

I have a leak at (or near) the passenger side rear corner of my trans pan. Everytime I stop the car, I get a small puddle (3-5") under the right rear corner, and I can see drops in that area of the pan, but it looks pretty dry above it.

I first tightened the pan bolts a little, to no effect. I then replaced the pan gasket and only just snugged the bolts--still leaking. I then tighted the bolts somewhat more (two fingers on the wrench), and no change.

What should I check or change next?

Thanks.

Are you sure the gasket is fully seated on the pan? I changed the fluid and filter on my 500E recently and while refilling, I heard a dripping sound from under the car. Probably half a quart had spilled on the ground because the gasket had dislodged from it position on the pan on the passenger side creating a big gap. If there is room you may want to see if you can slide a feeler gauge between the case and the gasket.

Sounds like the auxiliary pump seal. Mine was leaking there whenever I stopped at a light.

Where is this seal, and how tough is it to replace? DIY?

Thanks!
