Question '99 E430 Sport--Bad Mas Air Flow sensor

Code thrown for fuel trim --bad mas air flow sensor. If I replace MAF with new OEM part, will dealer's computer be necessary to get perameters back into range or after I clear code , will car's computer reset itself properly over period of miles?

For '95 E320 (W124) it was just a swap and I had to reset the MIL. I'm certain the computer will adjust itself, but I don't know if the MIL resets itself.

Yes the computer is adaptative & will re-learn.... after 5-6 starts with new info the MIL light will stay off.
