W124 KE jetronic fuel injection
I have been reading a good book on Bosch Fuel injection by Charles O Probst and Bentley publishers. I am at the chapter on KE injection that my 1992 Mercedes 300-E has. One of my questions is they show two air flow sensors one is a down draft and one is updraft. Can some one tell me which one I have?
Second question is it seems the fuel mixture adjustment has been sealed by the factory so you can not make adjustments. I have read several places were the small ball inserted in this adjustment is drilled out. what is the opinion of other owners who found this ? Bob Geco Last edited by Bob G; 02-22-2006 at 04:58 PM. That is a downdraft air flow plate assembly.
Yes, the tower can be replaced OR shortened just at the bottom of that ball.
