Current issue of Mercedes Enthusiast covers all Mercedes convertibles, including specific test of the W124.

Just know that a new top for the W124 is ~$5000.

The only problem with with Mercedes Enthusiast (and I do like the mag) is that the prices reflect British prices. Also, their reviews reflect British/Euro levels of equipment.

Other than that, the comparo is pretty interesting.
