88 TE Sunroof issue
On the wagon the sunroof has been working fine until this past week. The chrome deflector that pops up when the sunroof opens is not closing down completely stopping the roof panel from sliding forward. If I get out of the car and push on the deflector down the panel closes properly.
Any ideas?

|
On either side, with the roof open, you will see a chrome strip that connects to the deflector. These strips push the deflector down so that the roof can close. Check and make sure that they are not broken. If not broken there is a small adjustment screw towards the front of the strip. Adjust the screws in on both sides until the deflector clears the roof.
