Dad's cluster just went out on his 2001 S430 as well. A call to the 800 number and the rep said there was no open recall yet. Will have to wait a month to see if this will be covered.

RECORD YOUR MILEAGE!! Once the milage readout dissappears (and all of that information) it is nearly impossible to get the correct milage for the new cluster. Just start writing it down every once in awhile!

2000 w220 instrument cluster gauges started working intermittently and randomly then entire cluster lights went out. Stopped working all together I removed the cluster with keys aka cluster tools now going to send it to cluster repair shop anyone know a reasonable company to send it too
