Steering wheel jerk on start up

I have a 93' 500SEL with 136K miles on it. The steering wheel jerks once, big time, when I start it up. Is that an indication of something going bad? It drives great otherwise. I want to to be ready if something is going to go. My 94' S500 does not do this.
