Hello,
Could someone please tell me where the power steering fluid goes. I know the oil. The transmission fluid goes in where the dipstick has the orange cap. What about the power steering fluid? Thanks |

Standing in the front of the car, it is on the right toward the front of the engine. The reservoir has a black cap on top and the cap is round... Use only Mercedes Power steering fluid.(Clear looking)

What would happen if you use ATF in power steering pump instead of MB ps fluid? |

ATF should be fine but, I think some prefer the MB P/S fluid due, to it not having such high detergents. It may/may not cause the seals to leak. That is my guess but, I use ATF b/c the internals are the same as the older ones. It is your call.
