first of all, i want to thank all of those who replied to my previous question. As for my car, i have the headlights of a 1995 300e. I was wondering if these are considered the Euro headlights you all are talking about. Also, will this affect the lighting if i install the super white bulbs?

Paul:
The 1995 300E headlights are not Euro lights, but are much better than the 90 US 300E lights, and I believe use an H4 bulb. They should physically fit, but were designed for a different hood and grill. The area by the grill on each 95 light has a curved section which is covered by the 95 hood, but not by your '90s hood. . I think this was discussed before in the archives, but I am not sure. Also, I believe that the Euro light still has superior beam patterns, from what I have read. (You might get enough selling the 90 and 95s on Ebay or Autotrader to cover the cost of Euro lights). Go to this link to see Euro lights, and note the curved section on the 93-95 headlights. http://www.hella.com/maineng/lev1b/lev2bb/lev3bbc/mercedesw124.htm [Edited by JCE on 03-07-2001 at 06:13 PM]
