my climate control is going berserk on my 300E! whenever my heat is off one of the relays in my dash keeps clicking every time I hit a bump or accelerate. I have traced the problem to the climate control switches. when I hold down the off switch the clicking stops.
anyway, my question is, I know that most switches in my car can be taken apart and cleaned. can I take apart the switches in my climate control switchboard??????...or, do I have to buy a new one? your comments will be greatly appreciated! thanks! Adam |
You may try to take the bottom off of the box and solder the connections. IF this doesn't work, you can get a reman unit from us in the fast lane above.
