I discovered that my front caliper is leaking. I would like to just replace or rebuild it. I do not know how to tell the difference between Bendix and ATE calipers. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

You will usually find the name of the mfg. cast into the caliper itself. Take a look, you will be able to find it.

Oscar,

Bendix or Girling calipers will usually have two bent wires used for the pad cross-spring. Ate will have a solid metal cross spring. And as stated before, there is usually the manufaturer's name stapmed into the side of the caliper.
