Cold start problem
Im an owner of a 87 2.3 190e and Im having starting issues. When the car is cold and I start it up the car sputters and dies, I have to hold down the accelerator to keep it running. When the car is warmed up there is no problem, It restarts up fine. Is there anyone that knows how to diagnose or cure this problem in an inexpensive way ? Thanks

Monitoring the fuel system would be a good start as the lack of control would likely mean a defective OVP relay or its fuse. Really simple cheap stuff. Just do it. I'd start with EHA current on starting. Of course no key on engine off EHA current would be all one would need to switch the search to the OVP.
