190 won't start! please help!
It all started when I went to get my car smogged it wouldn't pass so I went to another place my brother told me about when I got there he started doing my car and started adjusting the fuel injectors I guess( the lil hole in the air cleaner ) then it passed but when I left there I got about ten miles away from there and it just died out and now it won't start. I turned on the ignition to here the fuel pump and it goes on so I turned the ignition on and off like 6 times and then tried to start it, and it did for a second so I did it again and it started for a second agian can anyone please tell me whats wrong? It's a 1990 2.6 I added a link of pic to show you what part he adjusted.

Hard to say what the original problem was, but if the mechanical fuel mixture was adjusted, and that was NOT the source of the original problem, then that is why it's not running now. For instance, if fuel was leaking past the plunger o-ring in a warm engine, evaporating and causing a slightly over-rich mixture, then adjusting the airflow meter to compensate would probably leave the mixture too lean to fire if the leak stopped.
The adjustment performed is unlikely to be needed unless to calibrate after a repair of the fuel distributor or airflow meter. Steve
