Making our own vacuum diagram

I thought if we had enough imput from others we might be able to come up with the correct vacuum line drawing for the 72-73 350sl-450sl 4.5L FED. cars. I have never found the correct drawing anywheres)

crossover valves(large acorn shaped units)
One located rear of coolant pressure tank. 2 vac line on bottom, 1 electric connection. Middle line goes to base rear of trottle body intake . Other vac line goes to dist. retard diaphram on side of dist.

2 crossover valves located on fire wall.
Passenger side valve. 1 vac port on top (need imput-where does yours go?)
2 ports on bottom. (my middle port is left open,no line on it-how about yours).
Other port on bottom. Mine goes to a RED plastic line and is pluged off).(where does yours go?)
Also has an electrical connection.

Other crossover valve on fire wall.-
Port on top ( mine has small vac line 2" long and goose necks downwards and left open) How about yours?
2 ports on bottom, middle one has vac line going to a Y, bottom of Y goes to base of intake manifold straight down below.(rear of engine.)
Other bottom port. vac line connected and goes along fire wall to drivers side then connects to 2 green vac lines coming from inside of drivers side of car.

Note- my car does not seem to have the following.
No EGR valve.
No air pump.
only one vac line to dist.
No diverter valve
It seems to have a rectangular shaped blk box laying on the drivers side front fender, with 2 vac lines to it (charcoal canister I'm guessing)

Once the crossover valves are done we should start on the other vac line.

All and any imput is welcome. Thanks

It seems to be very difficult to get the vac diagrams for the early SL.
The vac diagram furnished by MB DOC was very close for the ignition. Only the location of the cross-over valve was different. Can anybody find a vac diagram for the 2 other cross-over valves. thanks
