3mm allen key in CIS control housing between the intake flap and the fuel distributor head...there's a rivited tower...sometimes still sealed.....put 3mm key into top...push on spring loaded extension until it connects with internal adjuster key......clockwise to richen. 1/8 turn at a time while idling and warm.

Setting = 1% to 2% co.

On a car as old as a 77 the tower might not be there. On the early cars there was a screw that had to be removed to expose the hole the three mm allen drops into for adjustment.
