Ronald, To start, lets find out where you are.

For me, in Los Angeles, I use a few sources.

1. Autotrader - http://www.autotrader.com -also a print publication at my local newsstand

2. Recycler - http://www.recycler.com - also a print publication at my local newsstand

3. LA Times Classifieds Section (check your newspaper classifieds)

4. E-bay you wont find many, only a couple of them show up every now and again.

AutoTrader should have plenty of cars, but you will want to search by "Any Distance" To get the most results.

If you are in Los Angeles, there are literally thousands of used car lots all over this city, and I know of one in Van Nuys that might still have one. It looks decent, 17" AMG wheels and all. I saw it there a couple of weeks ago, but not sure if it sold yet, I havent been on that side of town for a couple of weeks.

I bought my 300e from Ebay. I did look for several months before I found what I wanted and in the price range I had in mind. Just please don't get in a big hurry, and enjoy the looking and learning process.

I just went to ebay's home page, typed in Mercedes 300ce in the search window, and came up with 5 cars to start with. At least this will get things started for you to look.

Well, you don't have to buy from Ebay, but it is a good place to shop and get information. There are usually a lot of pics, and fairly detailed information about whatever car turns your crank. Plus, if you follow some auctions, you will get a feel for what various quality cars are actually selling for. You even might find one in your area and go see it in person. Happy hunting.

I already bought a benz but its not a 300ce i bought a 93 190e in good condition 74k miles for only $8,800 with service record, not bad huh.Its pretty small though and there's a big differnce between the 190 and 300ce specially the ride, anyway im still gonna look an eye on ce.
