W210 headlamp trim/rubber question?
 

I noticed that there is a large gap underneath the lower bit of trim surrounding the headlamps, and the top of the bumper (chrome piece). It looks like a bit of trim or seal is missing?

The photos don't show it well, but basically you can see the engine bay through that gap. I can poke my finger through.

Is this correct, or should there be a rubber strip in there? Looks odd without one.
