Question about Headers
Hey guys I have a question about installing headers on my 1998 C280. Are there any problems that could arise from installing these on a car? I put headers on my old Chevy Truck, but there was really nothing to worry about there. Normally, these things are give and take, I am just worried about some problems or premature failure of parts as a result of having them. Thanks for the input.

Aside from gaining very little in the HP department, not sure why you'd want to run headers.
I'll admit though that I have a set on my Chevy truck. In the " Old Days ", it was common to re-jet a carburetor ( richer ), to compensate for the scavenging effect ( lean ) of headers. Not sure if your fuelinjection system can compensate for that. You will likely notice more noise than HP increases. Far as I know, " Supersprint " makes headers for your car. ;) |
