Euro vs US heads?

Are there any differences between the US and Euro cylinder heads on the M116 and 117 motors? CC volume, valve sizing, port size, etc

I have a chance to pick up a pair of Euro heads, cams, and manifolds here for next to nothing price wise and am curious if it'd be worth it...

I don't think there is a difference. I know that they will interchange. I put a US head on a euro 3.8 and it worked fine. I vaguely remember that the PN's were the same. Cams are definitely different in duration.

euro vs us cylinder heads

It depends on engine number. They are differences if 'part numbers' are different.

Head castings may be identical, cams most likely different. Check th epart numbers to be sure. US heads may have air injection passages into valve pockets.

Maybe I'll just grab the manifolds and cams then
