2002 E430 4-Matic - Front suspension

Hello:

My wife had a violent blowout of her left front tire last Sept and the blowout damaged the left front half shaft and wheel. While the dealer was replacing that they also replaced the lower control arm bushings and lower ball joints. The car did have over 80K so I agreed to replace them.

The cars front end has never been worse since they did the above stated work. It rides like an NYC cab with 170K on the clock. Every little bump shudders and wiggles the steering wheel and the entire ride is garbage. I brought it back twice and they say the work they did is intact and correct.

The symtoms, IMO, are indicative of ball-joints but they swear they are new and tight. Any ideas what could have dramtically rocked up the ride ?

Thx,

Oleh

Curious.
Did you replace the tires as well , with maybe some lower profile tires, or were the tires overinflated?
