420E Boilover???

I have a 1994 E420 135,000 miles...that continually boils over...the engine does not heat up and the coolant seems to circulate...when I turn off the engine or sit idle for a while the expansion Tank over flow....question...do I need a new tank cap...thermmostat, radiator or what...not sure what to do. The Dealership told me I needed a new radiator..this one does not leak...and the fluids seem to circulate ok...I'm just not sure what to do. P.S. where is the Thermostat on a E420

Check the radiator cap... make sure that the spring is still in one piece, and that any rubber gaskets are not chewed up. Inspect the seating surface on the tank itself - sometimes crud builds up on there.

If the radiator itself is not leaking, I would try flushing it first, before replacing it. (do a search for citric acid flush)
