500sel Euro Headlamp Problem 1984

I have h4 euros on my 500sel 1984 and the city lights are all hooked up and i have the vacuum plug on both lamps. I also have the factory switch that goes in the dash to raise and lower them. Where do i hook the switch up for vacuum and how do i run the hoses to get them to raise up and down? Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated. It is my first s class. 111K

On my 1984 300SD, I teed into the vacuum line that goes to the EGR. I ran a line from the EGR tee into the cabin, to the switch. I ran another line from the switch to a tee just behind the driver's headlight. The other ends of tee went to the headlights.

Tee In

If you have the vacuum gas economy gauge in your dash, you can tee into that behind your dash.
