Power steering fluid and coolant leak
Car model, 1992 S500 W140
Recently power steering fluid leak behind the reservoir. This is followed by coolent leak around the same area. What do I need to change and what else do I need to look out for at the same time. Appreciate your advise. |

Don't think that there is any external coolant hoses in that area...water pump maybe?
Very common P/S leak from the hose between the reservoir & the pump..so much a problem that MB issued a bulletin about 12 years ago..replacement of that cut-to-length hose takes about 1.5 hrs.

Thank you. You are right. Yesterday I opened the undercover and notice the coolant was leaking from the middle section of the engine. Well I saw a number of leaks. The coolant, Power steering fluid and steering box. Wounder where can I get workshop manual.
