Which wheel bearing grease to use

Ready to replace front rotors, pads, grease seals, and sensors. Also will be repacking the front wheel bearings. The Car: 1990 300 CE. Does MB have a special wheel bearing grease needed for this car, or is about any type of Hi-temp wheel bearing grease OK ?? I also remember hearing that there is a very small amount of grease to be left in the grease cap covering the NUT and outer bearing. Anyone have the full info on this maintenance job? Also what would you wipe off brand new rotors with before installation?? Thanks

Most folks use MB brand wheel bearing grease which is transluscent green. One tube is just enough for the front axle.

Wash the new rotors with dishwashing soap, rinse well then do a final wipe with brake parts cleaner when the rotors are on the spindle.
