Frequent Stalling On My 420sel
 

Hi... my 89 420SEL has recently started stalling on me, once on the freeway and many times on the street. I changed the fuel filter, thinking that was the problem but nopw, its still stalling. The car will run GREAT 1 day and then the next or even later that day will die or just runs extremly rough. It seems to be idling high i'm sitting. One of my major problems when it comes to attempting to fix is that i don not have a repair manual, or is that not that big of an issue? I would love some help and all your ideas on what could be stalling my benzo and making me really frustrated. Thanks alot for your time and input!:wacko:

There are threads galore out there on this subject...my stumbling/stalling on my 1986 420SEL turned out to be a bad fuel pump relay and a new OVP relay that turned out to be defective. Good luck, it can be maddening to diagnose.
