I am having a little trouble removing the rear deck lid spoiler. There is a little rust under the corner and I wish to remove it for repair. Some of the plastic nuts spin and it seems glued on.

How is it attached and how does it come off? Does the removal of the spoiler destroy all the paint on the deck lid? The spoiler needs to be repainted as well because it is badly cracked. It came from AMG painted body color 199.

You may have to pull and turn the nuts/bolts at the same time. I have had to pull to get these off in the past. Any time you install a body panel, vibration will rub a hole through the paint.
