Quick question... just as title says, will they swap between the motors?

Exhausts will almost surely as long as it's the same chassis. If it isn't, there might be a different design. PaulC swapped a 5.0 M117 into his 3.5 coupe and I think he used his 3.5's exhaust manis. The intakes are NOT swappable - the m116's are smaller (less block height means a shorter distance between the heads). I put 3.5 heads on my 4.5, didnt change a thing (other than performance)

Interesting, the EPC states the 117 manifolds off a 500/560 are only applicable to those engines, they do not list any 116's in the application data list.

Perhaps they do swap, just based on the info I have it hand it says no..though it wouldn't be the first time the EPC is/was wrong.

See I too noticed the part numbers between them as being different, but I found a 380SE Euro hanging out in a boneyard... figure those true duals would help the 560 motor out at higher RPM. I haven't a clue where to find a set of the Euro Tri-Y mainfolds from.

Maybe I'll just sell the 380 ones and keep searching for the Tri-Y ones.

HMX: I'd grab the manifolds and pipes (and anything else not bad). Worst case scenario is an ebay sale. Best case (and probable) is that it works fine on yours.

i dont know but it sounds like the bore spacing is the same and the deck height is different. hence exh swap but not intakes.

Hmmmmmmmmm... back to thinking on this. It APPEARS that the manifolds will just swap over no sweat.

Timevalve shows that the Euro duals (not Tri-Ys) will fit the 500 and 380. http://www.timevalve.com/cat/euro/p26b.html If so this will be nice. I'm know the the Tri-Ys will make more power but heck, at $25 I can't beat the others.

Well, all that shows is the down pipes and the rest of the exhaust is the same. Again, I'm not sure the port spacing is the same from one to the next and the EPC shows the 500 manifolds as being specific to that engine.

But as you say for 25$ it's a cheap experiment.

Cool deal, I'm going to go for it. I'll post up the results, I have located a set of M116 and M117 manifolds so if the 116s dont work... the 117s will. I love $25 all you can carry, these guys are going to think I'm nuts.

That one was an SE soooo I'm on the fence about the exhaust as the 420 is a LWB. BUT since I'll be removing the cats anyway from it, I don't see why I just can't extend it just a tad accordingly as it'll bolt up properly in the back.

I have also just found a 380SEL Euro today with the proper exhaust but it'll be more spendy. Decisions, decisions.

Only wish I could have found those Tri-Ys but heck, I don't have a clue what years they were even available.
