Glow-Starter Switch
I need the wirering for a 85 300sd on the back of the ignition switch
I found one for a 86 sdl as follows P30-GR/WT---15X-PK/GR---30-RD---50-VI---30-RD--15-PK/BL--15R-PK/Y The car will start but shuts off in about 5 seconds Thanks Dave--dswhite96@yahoo.com |
I'm confused.:confused: The ignition switch has nothing to do with keeping the car running on an MB diesel. I suspect crossed vacuum hoses leading to the fuel shut off on the back of the pump.

I had to destroy the plug on the ignition switch to change the key tumbler.
When I wired it back all I can find is a diagram for a 86sdl. I just want to make sure it is the same I will check the vacum hoses on the steering lock. |

NOW just need to know if the wireing on the switch is the same on a 86sdl as my 85sd? |
