reference sensor 86 300 E
Hi my 86 300 E stopped running kinda dogged out. I parked it at work, it wouldent start, then after 8 hours after work it started. I got it home hasnt started since. It turns over fine. I have plenty of juice in the battery. I checked fuel pump and acumulator changed the filter so I now suspect its the reference sensor. I seen 2 online they look different for a 86 300 E. Yes it was located on the flywheel pulley. Is that just for diesel an or gas cause they look different or Im thinking maybe I pulled the wrong sensor out. And can that sensor prevent the car from starting. Thanks Yall

The crankshaft flywheel sensor that triggers the ignition plugges into the ignition module. Should OHM out at approx 900..& generate approx 0.5Vac durning cranking.
