BAS ABS Warning Light-Why would it go on...

BAS ABS Warning Light-Why would it go on and then the next day be off?

It came on this weekend and this morning I drove the car around for a few minutes and it never went on. Any ideas why? Is it just electrical gremlins? Thanks for any insight you can give.

Have had two so far, the terminals on the abs module go loose for some reason. Have the dealer or an independant tighten the teminals under the module. You have to have a tool to get the modules out, so I would not soncider this a do-it-yourself fix.

Bas/abs

Low voltage from an old weak battery causes this also.

If you have a ow voltage problem, you will have more than an abs light. Youu need a minimum of 13 Volts of constant current running to not have a light pop on

Sometimes a sticking brakelight switch is the culprit. ;)

The light will also come on intermittantly if the tires are different sizes.

Thanks for the responses everyone

:) I appreciate everyones replies. I will be sure to check the voltage and then if not have my independent take a look at those possibly loose modules. Thanks again for all your responses.

I just wanted to update for Search purposes...It ended up being the Brake Lamp Switch as Manny mentioned. Thanks to everyone who replied.
