Could someone explain the basic difference between
HFM and LH management.

They both use MAF sensors (Mass air flow). The slight differences between hot wire and hot film are really not that significant. The major difference is that HFM incorporates the ignition and fuel control into one system where as the LH-SFI has separate ignition controls.
