W-140 tire wear
I have a 1995 S-350 that has always had a problem of wearing out the rear tires prematurely. I rotate the tires every 7500 miles and Mercedes aligns the car about once per year. The car is bad about wearing the rear tires on the inside edge. Is there something that I am overlooking here. The suspension is tight and Mercedes can find no problems. Is anyone else having this problem. I have run Michelin MXV4, MXV4 plus, and Pilot XGT H4 and all of them get about 20000-25000 miles before they are down to the cords.

. . . had similar problem
with an E class car that was solved by doing a four wheel alignment. Find a place that has the Hunter four wheel computerized alignment system. All four wheels are aligned together and that should fix your problem.

Sounds like excessive rear toe-in/out on the rear, would like to see alignment readings from your car!! EVEN alignment equiptment needs calibration at least once a year!!
