i don't know why but sometimes it takes a while for the needle to go up. i have a '95 c-280. my brother has the same car with the same exact problem. any idea what it is and how i could fix it. thanks :p

Try doing a search using the serach function top right of the screen. This has been covered. Apparently, and someone will correct me if wrong, faulty paint making the limit post sticky.

I had the same problem with my tachometer on 1995 C280. Listen to the other's advice, it will probably cure it. Mine stuck on 0 for a few months. Every time I started teh car, I would whack the dashboard and the tach would come up. Leading me the obvious conclusion that it was sticking.
To make a short story long, it stopped sticking randomly and has worked EVERY time perfectly for months now... Knock on (Zebrano) wood. |
