IF it is like my car, should take about 20 minutes to change it.
Here is what it looks like ; http://catalog.eautopartscatalog.com/mercedesshop/sophio/wizard.jsp?partner=mercedesshop&clientid=catalog.mercedesshop&baseurl=http://catalog.peachparts.com/&cookieid=1R510G7PR1T51A1I1B&year=1999&make=MB&model=CLK-430-001&category=R&part=Blower+Motor The motor should be located just to the right of the cabinfilter, 5 screws holding it up. http://w202cabindustfilter.homestead.com/ May as well change the filter too, while you're down there. |

CLK430 - blower still not working.
Ok I changed both the blower fan and the regulator and nothing is happening. The fan is not engaging at all. I put a volt meter to the 3 pronged clip and there is no voltage. I don't know where the fuse is for the blower motor I checked under the hood but there is nothing.
I appreciate all your help and replies. THanks a million. Canmbfan |
Thanks Manny for the help...
Thanks I was able to change it just today. I replaced both the regulator and the fan, but there is no action. I put a volt meter to the 3 pronged plug and there was no voltage. Do you know where the fuse is for the blower motor? I checked under the hood but couldn't find one.
Thanks in advance. I really appreaciate it. Canmbfan |
I think it is in the trunk. If memory serves me correct.

tried the trunk but no luck...CLK 430 blower motor help
Thanks for the reply.
I tried the trunk but it is not there either. Most of the fuses in the trunk are for the power seats. Unless there is more than one box in the trunk. There is another box by the driver door that is mostly for the lights. Thanks and reagards, Canmbfan |
Ok I finally found it. It was fuse 25 in the front fuse box.
Thanks for all your replies. canmbfan |
