reset codes 1994 s500/ A/C blower reg.

Afraid I'm going to be asking a lot of questions. Just bought 1994 S500 about 3 weeks ago and have put 5,000 miles on it already. All the little(hopefully) small things are cropping up. Right now I have two problems that are in need of aid. Engine light on. I paid to have the codes read out and was told that the upshift delay value was none functional. I'm checking for vacuum leaks now before I pay to have it replaced. Other thing is that when I turned the car on this afternoon, the A/C blower did not start. Can someone tell me where the regulator is located in this car so I can check it/replace? Also, how do I turn off the codes to see if I will get the upshift error again?

Thanks

The blower regulator on your W140 is located under the hood, just forward of the windshield on the right side. Its mounted to the top of the blower. There have been numerous threads on this topic. Would recommend you run a search.

Bad motor

Turned out to be bad bearings in the blower motor. Bought a motor and replaced it. No problem except removing the old fan blades to reuse. Finally drilled out the old motor shaft which then allowed me to drive it off the old motor. The fan cage feels extremely brittle. I disassembled the old motor which allowed me to drive the shaft out with out putting pressure on the blade. Hope that's one I don't have to do again soon.
