Instrument Cluster 15 pin plug

Can anyone show me how to wire up the 15 pin plug on the back of the instrument cluster. I broke the tip of mine off, and went to salvage and got another. I saw that the plug comes apart, and I could replace the portion that plugs into the instrument cluster.

When I plugged it in and started the car, all kinds of things were hooked up wrong. The seatbelt light stays on as well as the buzzer. I must have turned the wires and put them in the wrong holes. Can you show or tell me what color wires go where?

This image is of the broken off one.

One minor little question.

What car?

So now that we got that over.
A few lessons. Get the wire diagram for your car. Can't tell you where to find it since we haven't got an answer to the above question. In the wire digram the end of the contact points have numbers printed next to them. Notice the #4, 5, 12 and 13 stamped on the socket you show above. Those are the locations for the Numbered wire in the schematic. Each wire is color coded in the schematic. So you can figure the replacement out.
Once we have the car type, someone may have a picture of the connector from behind so you can just use the picture.

Until then, tell us the type car.

Dave

PS. When working on a car, Digital photos are a Godsend. You should have taken pictures of the wire harness before dismantling, But you know that now.:D
