W140 not blowing any air from climate control?
 

I am posting this info for a friend, so the info I have is second hand. Car is a 97 S320, I will look at it tomarrow. Sounds like all of a sudden the blower stopped working. No air from the vents regardless of what you do to the climate control.

Now if this was a W126 I could figure it out in my sleep, but its not.:D

But lets start with the simple stuff: So what fuse's are for the blower motor? Were is the blower motor and how do you get at it?

There is a electronic regulator built into the top of the blower housing, that gets its info from the control. There is also a chance the bearing in the blower has seized up.

If after the fuse it still doesnt work, check for the regulator which could be seperate from the blower.I had the same problam with my E420 97 and the regulator was under the glovebox...and pretty expensive too.$250 canadian dollars

Talked to a couple of people today, they all seemed to think it was the resistor.

MB sells the W140 manuals on CD for $175, so he probably should buy that. Actualy the way it is looking he might just bring it to a shop and have them do it, neither one of us can seem to find the time to look into it.
