'97 C280: cruise cont. doesn't work. Where to start?
 

1997 C280: Last week the ABS light was on, and I noticed the cruise control didn't work (no light on dash, no effect when playing with the stalk/control). I had the codes read by my local shop. It said "brake switch." The switch was replaced. The ABS light went off, and has stayed off all week, but I just noticed that the cruise control still doesn't work. Nuts! I assumed they were both resulting from the same problem, i.e., the brake switch. Any ideas where to start? Thanks for any advice.
