My sunroof wont go down and I can hear the motor still working. I need to know how to get the roof down quick cuz its about to rain. Thanks for any help.

You can manually close the sunroof. There should be a tool (supposed to be in glove box? or MB tool kit?? and this tool (like an Allen wrench) goes into a hole under the dome light housing. Maybe you could be a little more specific with your model car? I hope you can understand this OK.

you may have to remove the map or dome light cover on the drivers side to gain access.

Thanks for your help. My car is a 88 260e and I managed to close it. I had to use a wrench and pliers in order to do it. To do it manually u have to go to the trunk and hold one bolt and twist the center piece. If anyone wants details just let me know.

P.S. We got the new lexus sc430 at our dealership and it looks alot like the slk (just with alot more horses and 18 inch wheels)
