Question '82 380sel various questions

Hello Forum:

The internet is a beautiful thing...Hats off to forum admin!

I have done research on the forum on all the issues I'm about to ask, but if for some reason I missed something please point me in the right direction.

1) Rough idle cold start(once warm its ok not perfect just ok slight roughness)--I have looked for a vac leak around the ICV with carb clean by spraying it around hoses and the result was no change. Next I sprayed carb clean up and down both sides of intake area and is what resulted is rougher idle like the engine was loading up. Could it be the rubber intake manifold hose on both sides bad, or the injector holder and seals? How do I rule out the cold start valve and warm up regulator?

2) I want to change all four door strikers and I have tried loosen one of them and have stripped out 3 of the 4 hex bolts of the first door striker(prior to trying I applied a little blaster two days before i started). I am using a high quality mm hex and now I am about to drive in a slight larger torq/12pt. Any other sugesstions? Also, where do I get replacement bolts cheap? Looks like I'll need a few LOL. 8)

3) Tranny--When leaving from a stand still the car shifts through all four gears by about 30-35 mph using moderate acceleration, and going up slight inclines the car does not shift down unless I punch it. Is this normal or what do I do? In 1 above, if I uncover a vac leak, that could be the cause--mayb. Any other sugggestions?

4) Driveshaft/axle--If I punch it and as it leaves 1st into 2nd kinda of hard (could be normal don't know) and as it is reaching the end of 2nd you start to feel a little vibration from mid-car or rear--don't know for sure, then it shifts to 3rd kinda hard and as it starts to max out 3rd the vibration is felt again, I dont know about fourth cuz that would put me in the 90-100mph bracket, but I'm pretty sure it would be the same LOL. The flex joints look good, but who knows how old they are. Any thoughts?
