I have a terrible problem with the interior pillar material, (vinyl) coming apart from the plastic seatbelt cover. The interior is black and the hot sun in Florida has broken down the adhesive and the vinyl material is sliding around...I do not know how to un install so I can strip them and recover??? Can these be bought from a dealer new? I cannot really find any help on this matter so any advice is appreciated..

I'm not sure what part your describing, but if you want to remove the pillar covering here's a brief from the cd manual. Remove 2 screws at bottom of pillar and seat belt bolt [all might have plastic cover caps]. Remove center strip by pulling toward car center. There's a clip at top of strip, so I'd use a downward motion. Be patient, or you'll break someting.
A good MB dealer parts dept will print out the parts diagram for you.

The part is available from the dealer, as are most parts.

For some reason, in my experience, the 94-95 have this problem much more than the earlier models.

If you are going to try to reattach it, the key is to make sure the vinyl is well secured around the seat belt opening first. Then across the length of the B-pillar cover, then finally from edge to edge. The seat belt opening needs have extra glue on both the covering material and the plastic it attaches to. Use 3M HD interior contact cement. Be sure to clean off any old cement using the 3M adhesive remover.
