Change it often.

None of my car has problem with Supertech. Go figure. In fact, they are all pretty happy with it. I do complain to walmart about the price hike thse days, though.

Oil is oil...but the brandname stuff has different detergants and indy sponsorships that make you want to run Castrol everytime a car with their sticker on it wins!..lol(Jokin around)

Personally the only difference I see between brands is their detergants and types...dino, semi-syn and full syn. So i'm not surprised Supertech works great for you, and changin it often only makes sure ur engine keeps going strong. Walmart's big, but not big enough to own their own oil refineries, I bet they're buying someone like Shell's bulk oil so it is a name brand oil from somewhere. Thanks for the interesting input and admitting to using in house walmart oil.

i also use any SJ/SM rated dino oil i can find for teh cheapest. I've used walmart supertech and autozone coastal dino with zero problems. these are rebranded oils from one of the big companies anyway. i change the oil every 3000 miles.

yea ur right....but picky people like me use only 1 brand since i only want one kind of oil detergant/additives in my car's engine, and to make that brand easy to find i stick to name brand as it can be bought anywhere. So if supertech does the trick for u and walmart is right next door easy to go to....stick with it and ur generous intervals.
