Please tell me if I checked this right...
I aligned the marks on camshaft sprocket to cam bearing housing by turning crank in direction of normal rotation. Then I read 4 degrees on the (is it a harmonic balancer?) How much is too much? Will the engine start running rough as this stretch (wear?) increases? When should it be replaced? Thanx in advance for responses. Bill. |

I know on the later engines, the max is 3 degrees.
